About the MACC

We mean business…

The Milford Area Chamber has been the voice for business in a ten town area representing hundreds of businesses of all sizes and all industries in Bellingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis, and Upton since 1922.

As the business voice, the MACC is obligated to represent its members’ interests in community conversations, helping to monitor the business environment and advocate for measures that help our members succeed.

Working for you…

The MACC is a private, not-for-profit, membership-based business-advocacy organization. We are not a government agency, nor do we receive any public tax funding. The MACC is governed by a volunteer board of directors – a diverse group of the area’s top business leaders who chart the course for MACC as it works to enhance business opportunities and create a positive economic climate.

With a staff of just three employees, we actively support our members and the business community through economic and community development, government relations, education, and workforce development initiatives. But we couldn’t do it all without the incredible leadership and energy given by so many MACC volunteers. They make all the difference and allow the MACC to accomplish so much for the membership and our communities.

Community Partner…

This area is rich with progress and possibilities! The MACC works collaboratively with our elected officials, educational institutions, not-for-profits and the medical community. We recognize by supporting a strong, dynamic, educated and healthy community, the MACC contributes to the quality of life. Ensuring the wonderful quality of life that we enjoy is one of the best reasons for businesses to make our area their home!
